What it is
Mastodon is a federated social-networking platform whose servers can operate independently while communicating through open federation protocols.
My public evidence confirms that a Mastodon service was present in the lab catalogue. It does not claim that the instance was a public production community or expose accounts, domains or moderation settings.

How it fitted into my lab
I used the deployment as a self-hosting and federation experiment, learning how a more complex web platform fits into an existing lab estate.
What this demonstrates
This demonstrates application experimentation, understanding of federated-service concepts and accurate scoping of evidence for a non-production deployment.
