What it is
Apache Guacamole is a clientless remote-desktop gateway. It presents supported remote connections through a web browser, allowing a central gateway to provide access to systems using protocols such as RDP, SSH and VNC.
In my lab it appears as a dedicated self-hosted service rather than being confused with the separate VPN, overlay-networking or hypervisor projects.

How it fitted into my lab
I used Guacamole as a browser-based entry point for remote systems in the lab. The public portfolio records the service and its purpose while keeping connection definitions and credentials private.
What this demonstrates
This demonstrates understanding of remote-access gateways, protocol separation, browser-based administration and the need to publish evidence without revealing connection details.
